Callaway redesigned the layer under the cover with their Tour Fast Mantle, a stiffer material that acts like a spring at impact. The result is more ball speed without the ball feeling any harder, which is a trick most manufacturers can't pull off. They also upgraded their Seamless Tour Aero process to grind the entire cover for uniform dimples. Most balls have distorted dimples around the seam where the two halves meet, which means your ball flies different depending on how you tee it up. This one doesn't. The combination gives you a higher launch than the Chrome Tour models with less spin off the driver, and the urethane cover still gives you everything you need around the greens.
